Our Story

Chief is a private network designed for the most powerful women in leadership to strengthen their leadership, magnify their influence, and pave the way to bring others with them. Founded by Carolyn Childers and Lindsay Kaplan in 2019, we’re on a mission to drive more women to the top — and keep them there.

Time Off

During the pandemic we instituted — and then kept — a 4.5-day workweek. We offer flexible PTO, as well as 10 paid holidays. We also take time off at the end of each year as a company to rest and spend time with our loved ones.

We fully fund health insurance costs, and partner with Kindbody, One Medical, and Talkspace to support our employees’ overall wellbeing.

Gender-Neutral Parental Leave
